How do I identify which Mercruiser eng/od model I have? I know it is a 6.2L MPI with a Bravo-3 out drive. But I am trying to look up service procedures for servicing the out drive. I'm finding listings like MX6.2 black scorpion I/B, scorpion 6.2 V8 I/B, MX6.2 MPI Horizon, Horizon I/B, MX6.2 MPI V8, V8 I/B, etc. Not sure what i have to proceed further. Many authentic designer handbags come with a card of authenticity. An authenticity card is a little card that usually has the manufactures logo embossed on the front and has some information about the product you purchased and sometimes includes a magnetic strip, bar code. Serial Number. Check for a serial number. DoctorWho New Member. It is listed as authentic, however the serial number that is embossed on the brass plate is off (there is large gap between numbers it has one alphabet & 4 numbers there is a large gap between between the 3rd & 4th number) & do not match serial number on the patch inside the bag.*Does real MCM has numbers on.
A Master Your CDC update is currently available for serial numbers between CW0331-XXXXX and CW0335-XXXXX. These updates include new pictures in the Mac workscreen.
Should you run into an error message or problem, please check these suggestions first.
- Do you meet all the minimum requirements?
- Is your computer at least a 486 IBM or 100% compatible?
- Are you using Microsoft Windows 95, 98, or ME? (McM Studyware does not work on Windows 3.1, DOS, or Mac.) If you are using Windows 2000, NT, or XP and an older version of CDC 1.0, you may need to download a patch from the Corrections page on our website if you get an error message. Version 2.0 is not guaranteed to work with Windows 95.
- Do you have at least 16 MB of RAM free? (32 MB is optimal.)
- Do you have at least 35 MB free space on your hard drive? (45 MB is optimal.) Version 2.0 requires 45 MB (55 MB optimal).
- Is your display setting at least 256 colors? Version 2.0 requires 16 bit colors and a minimum display of at least 800 x 600.
- Does your hard drive have at least 15 MB free after installation for thinking room? This is optimal.
- Do you have enough free RAM to run our program concurrently with your word processing program? If not, or if your RAM is low, cutting and pasting between McM Studyware and word processors will be slow.
- Is your CD-ROM functioning properly? Can you run other CD-ROMs from this drive?
- You must place the McM Studyware CD-ROM in the drive each time you open the program. You can then remove our CD-ROM while you study with McM studyware.
- Is your printer working? Try to print something else, first in McM Studyware, then in another program. If nothing prints, you know the problem is related to the printer, not the software.
- Are your printer connections in place correctly?
- Have you selected the correct printer port - particularly if you are printing on a network?
- Have you checked your printer driver and setup?
- Are your modem and network browser set up correctly? If not, automatic activation and the shortcut to our website will not be able to function correctly.
- Are you running a firewall program? Ensure Port 443 is accessible during Auto Activation.INSTALL
- Where do you find your serial number? For Version 2.0, it's imprinted on your CD-ROM. For Version 1.0, it's on a white sticker on the front of the jewel case that holds your CD-ROM.
- Where is your user code? It's on the Manual Activation screen.
- Did you select the wrong CDC when you installed? Contact our Tech Support.
- Are you trying to install a second copy of Master Your CDC on a computer that already has the program installed? (For example, you and your spouse are studying different CDCs.) You cannot load two copies of our software on the same computer. Please purchase unlock codes to open the additional CDCs.
- Did you purchase a computer from someone who had already loaded a copy of Master Your CDC and now you cannot install your CD-ROM? Contact our Tech Support.
- Is your computer not reading the Master Your CDC CD-ROM, but reads other CDs? Check if you are running a 16-bit Windows program, such as Windows 3.1. Our program requires a 32-bit format, Windows 95 or higher for Version 1.0 and Windows 98 or higher for Version 2.0. Check the CD for scratches or dirt.
- Is the install process very slow and does it even appear to stop? Check if you are running any antivirus software. If so, disable the antivirus program/monitor just during the install process.
- Did you enter the wrong rank when you installed? Exit the program. Delete the C:Program FilesCDC Studywarecdc_rank.dat file. Restart the program and enter the correct rank in the personalization screen. Note: The rank you enter does NOT affect the questions or the way they are asked. It only affects the audio/video response when your score exceeds the target you set.WINDOWS NT, WINDOWS 2000, and WINDOWS XP -- Version 1.0 Only
- If you run the program on Windows NT, 2000, or XP, you may experience one or more of the following error messages:
· Problem copying (CDC/2A551/img2A551, for example)
· It may request an unlock code, even for the first CDC you're installing
· Read beyond end of file error
· Unable to copy files when loading
You need to download a patch. Go to the Corrections page on our web site, click to the CDC section, and follow the directions precisely. - How do you know if your CDC is current on our program? Check that the dates of the CDC volumes and/or supplements included in this CD-ROM match the dates of the paper CDCs you are studying. The date is on the back cover of each volume of your CDC or on the front page of any supplement
· Check the sticker on the back of each box for the list of CDCs included on that CD-ROM. The sticker will also tell you these CDCs are current as of the WAPS catalog for a specific year.
· You may also check our website for a list of the CDCs we currently offer and the date of the latest volume/supplement.
· In addition, before you install or unlock a CDC, you can click the + box to the left of the CDC number and a list will drop down with the volumes and supplements and their dates.
· If you have a more current supplement, update, answer key or volume, please contact us about submitting it in return for free products. We are committed to updating CDCs as quickly as possible; however, the standard is the current WAPS catalog. - Is the only CDC(s) you want available on our website, but not on the CD-ROM in the store? Purchase the CD-ROM, install, and select the 1XXXX CDC (or the first CDC listed if 1XXXX is not available) to install. Close the program and download the CDC you want from the web. Then call us for an unlock code. This code will be free, once we confirm your registration information.
UNLOCK CODES - If your CDC has 5 and 7 levels and/or A, B, Cs, do you need to purchase unlock codes for each? Yes. You may select one individual CDC course to install when you purchase the CD-ROM. AFSCs with a 5 and 7 level, as well as those with an A, B, C, are sold separately and will require unlock codes.
- Version 1.0 -- Did you lose your jewel case with the sticker listing your serial number?
* Open your CDC program and click on the 'About' screen option under Help on your Main Menu Bar. The About screen will list the name you entered when you installed and the serial number.
* Or you may open the Unlock Additional CDCs screen. The same information will be displayed on the right side of the screen.
* If you have registered your software with us, we have your serial number and any unlock codes you may have purchased on file. - Are you reinstalling and can't remember your unlock code? Call or email us. We keep your unlock codes on file.
- Did you purchase an unlock code, but it doesn't work? Open your software and then open the Unlock Additional CDCs screen.
· Check the name and serial number listed. It's critical that you provided us with the exact letters/numbers and any spaces.
· Check that you've selected the correct CDC to install. That CDC number should appear in a box at the right. If you've downloaded the CDC from our web site with a '-200X' extension, please be sure you've told us that.
· Check that you haven't typed a letter O instead of the number 0 in your serial number and/or unlock code.
· Check that you've entered the unlock code without any spaces or dashes. - Did you download a CDC from our web site and now can't find it on the list of CDCs to unlock? After downloading, be sure you double-clicked the file to install it. Then go to the Unlock Additional CDCs screen and change the 'Install From' choice from 'CD-ROM' to 'LOCAL.'
- Will the unlock codes work if you install on your second computer? Yes. However, be sure to type your name (and, with Version 1.0, your serial number) exactly the same when you complete the personalization screen. Be sure you install the same CDC. The unlock code will only work for one specific CDC. And remember that the CD-ROM must be inserted each time you use the program.
- Can you install two copies of Master Your CDC on the same computer? No, you must install only one copy of the program and purchase unlock codes to open additional CDCs.
DOWNLOADS - Can I download the entire program from the web? No, you must purchase the CD-ROM to install the program itself. Also, the CD-ROM must be inserted each time you open the program.
- When downloading, did you get a 'security warning' from Microsoft regarding an 'authenticode'? Click 'yes' you want to install and run the file. We are not participating in this Microsoft program.
- How do you open a downloaded CDC? After downloading, be sure to double-click the file to install it. Then go to the Unlock Additional CDCs screen and change the 'Install From' choice from 'CD-ROM' to 'LOCAL.' Select the CDC to be opened. Remember, you will need to purchase an unlock code.
- Which directory should you download updates to? A download can go to any directory you wish - or to no directory, if you select Open/Run From Current Location. Just be very sure you are NOT running the CDC program during the update.
You MUST close the CDC program before you run the update download.
If you try to run the download while the CDC program is still running, you can receive the following errors:
· 'Error 112 set up is unable to decompress or copy all the files needed to proceed with installation'
· 'Table does not exist'
· 'File or directory does not exist.'
If you have an error:
· First try closing the CDC program and then click the patch again.
· If that is unsuccessful, you must reinstall following these directions. Uninstall our software and delete the CDC Studyware folder from the Program Files folder on your C drive. Then run the install again. After you run the software for the first time, shut it down and run the patch you downloaded from the web. The patch MUST be run while our program is NOT running. - Did you create a separate folder on your C drive to download a CDC - then, when you tried to Unlock Additional CDCs and clicked on Local, it warns that there are no available CDCs on the local drive? Go to the folder you downloaded the file into and double-click the file.USE
- Can you lend or sell your CD-ROM to a friend? Absolutely not, not even after you've tested. This is a violation of the license agreement that states the software cannot be transferred to another user.
- Why would you use QuickStudy? QuickStudy is designed for novice users who prefer a simplified, basic way to study. It pares down the setup options to the most common defaults and turns off all the other features so you can go straight into the Self-Test or URE questions.
- How do you write your own questions? Use our Create/Edit features to add your own questions. Step-by-step directions are found in Help. You may also use the Add-A-Note feature on the toolbar to tack information onto a question. (This is not available in QuickStudy.)
- Are you unable to find your bookmarks after setting them? Select a chapter to study and click on the Setup tab at the top of the window. Choose a Start point and you are given the options of starting at question 1, select a question to start with, or start at the bookmark. If you do not have a Setup tab, you are using the QuickStudy feature where options like bookmark are not available.
- Do you want to do duplex printing of the CDC questions from a non-duplex capable printer? A customer has recommended HandyPrint 98, a $25 shareware program available here. Evidently you simply tell our program to print to HandyPrint. It then formats the pages received and prints.
ERRORS - Has your CDC program been working, but now you've received an 'Engine does not match' error? You are running another program with a Borland engine at the same time, perhaps even a screensaver. Disable your screensaver and turn off other programs, then launch the program.
- Did you get a 'D: is not accessible. The device is not ready' error or does your computer ask you to insert your CD-ROM when it is already in the drive? First check if you can run a different CD-ROM in your drive. If other CDs work, you may have a bad or scratched CD. Please contact us about returning it for a replacement.
- Did you get a 'You have performed an illegal instruction' error with a detail stating that there was an error in a bit read? Uninstall Master Your CDC from the Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel. Then delete the folder named CDC Studyware from the Program Files folder on your C drive. Reinstall the software.
- Did you get a 'MMSystem' error after a quiz? You may need to update your default video player. Or you may enter the program, select Customize from the Main Menu Bar, then click the tab marked View and uncheck the box by Animations. This will turn off the animation until you update your video player.
- Did you get a 'Range Check Error' or an 'Error 428'? Temporarily disable Norton Antivirus programs or any other antivirus program and reinstall.
- Did you get a 'Riched.dll textedit' error? You must reinstall Windows to replace corrupt files caused by running Delrina Form Flow or an older Windows program that copies over newer files with older ones without checking the dates. Our program requires the most current version of the RICHED.DLL and/or RICHED32.DLL files.
- Did you get an 'Error 112 set up is unable to decompress or copy all the files needed to proceed with installation,' or 'Table does not exist,' or 'File or directory does not exist' after you download from our website? You probably tried to run the update patch while the CDC program was running.
· First try closing the CDC program and then double-click the patch again.
· If that is unsuccessful, you must reinstall following these directions. Uninstall our software and delete the CDC Studyware folder from the Program Files folder on your C drive. Then run the install again. Before you run the software for the first time, run the patch you downloaded from the web. The patch MUST be run while our program is NOT running. - For older Version 1.0, are you running the program on Windows NT, 2000, or XP and got one or more of the following error messages:
· Read beyond end of file error
· Unable to copy files when loading
· Problem copying (CDC/2A551/img2A551, for example)
· It may request an unlock code, even for the first CDC you're installing
You need to download a patch. Go to the Corrections page on our web site, click to the CDC section, and follow the directions precisely. - Did you get an error message that 'The BLOB has been modified'? The database may have become unstable due to a power failure or a crash in another program on your computer. Uninstall and then reinstall McM Studyware and any update patches you've downloaded from our website. You will lose any 'Add-a-Notes' or edits you've made and the stats in your reports/graphs.
- Did you get an error message that 'Master Your CDC was not properly installed. Please reinstall.' when you clicked the icon? There may be a conflict with other software installed on your computer. Please contact Tech Support for directions.
- Did you get a 'ISSET-SE' install error that generated an illegal operation? You may have an out-of-date Norton Antivirus program (prior to Norton 5.0). Update your Norton Antivirus program or disable it just during the install process.
- Did you get a 'No disk in Drive A' message? When Dell installed your software, they left your settings pointing to Drive A when they should point to Drive C. We have a patch available at www.mcmguides.com/dell to fix this.
- Does your computer freeze after launching Master Your CDC? We have a patch called 'Patched Version of the CDC' to fix your compatibility issues available at www.mcmguides.com/tech .
Installation Instructions for Additional CDCs:
You do not have to purchase an entire new package for every CDC. Simply purchase unlock codes for only $19.95 for each additional CDC. These codes are only available directly from McMillan Study Guides, Inc. They are not available through your MCSS or bookmark stores.
- Register your software using the on-line registration on this website or mail the postage-free registration card on the back cover of the user guide.
- Select the 'Unlock Additional CDCs' option on the menu bar. Check the list and dates of the CDCs included on your CD-ROM to ensure that the CDC(s) you need is included.
- If the CDC is NOT included or the date is not current, check our website for the latest listing of CDCs available. You can download these CDCs.
- Call 800/821-1338 or 805/545-0119 -- or use the secure server on our website -- to purchase the unlock code. Have your Visa or MasterCard number and expiration date ready.
- To purchase an unlock code, you must be a registered user. For Version 1.0, you'll provide the exact spelling of the name you entered in the CDC Installation/Personalization Screen when you installed your software and your software serial number from the sticker on the CD-ROM jewel case. (You can check the 'Unlock Additional CDCs' screen to verify this information.)
- Each unlock code is unique and will allow you to install only the CDC you requested. Be sure to write down the unlock code and keep it with your CD-ROM as you will need it if you ever have to reinstall the program.
- Select the 'Unlock Additional CDCs' option on the menu bar. Select the CDC. Type in the 10-digit Unlock Code for that CDC. The program will verify the code. Click 'OK' to install.
NOTE: If the unlock code is not accepted (verified), check that you've typed the code in correctly. For Version 1.0, if you've provided a serial number, name and/or CDC number that does not exactly match the information you entered into the Personalization Screen, the code will not be verified. Call or email the correct information and request a revised code.

History[edit]
The MCM label, originally stood for Michael Cromer München, was founded by Michael Cromer in 1976 in Munich, Germany.[2] The company designed expensive leather suitcases and handbags which became popular during the 1980s for being 'ostentatious and flashy'.[2] At the height of its popularity in 1993, it owned 250 branches worldwide and recorded sales of $250 million.[2] Following a 1995 investigation of Cromer for alleged tax evasion by German tax authorities, banks and investors lost faith in MCM's financial stability.[3] In 1997, the company was restructured, and its stores and trademark rights were split and sold.[3]
In 2005, the worldwide rights to the MCM brand were acquired by Sungjoo Group, a South Korean retail business founded by Sung-Joo Kim, the youngest daughter of South Korean magnate Kim Soo-keon.[4] Kim re-launched the brand in 2006 with a new store in Berlin.[5] MCM thereafter reopened stores in New York, Toronto, Paris, London, Singapore, Tokyo and China among others. In 2011, MCM debuted its largest store in Hong Kong’s Entertainment Building.[6]
MCM makes roughly 70% of its sales in Asia, and roughly 30% in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.[4] The brand aims to have sales of $2 billion by 2019.[4]
